East Village Crossbody: Maple

This delicate little crossbody was inspired by a bag I thrifted in the East Village in 2008. This particular piece was cut from a soft cowhide from Italy - it holds a shape but it is malleable. This leather will patina beautifully! It will organize you well - two external pockets, one of which hides under the other, plus the main zippered compartment. And the base detail?! 

This is a great size for travel and day to day use - the pockets are really the winner here. The magnetic snap closure for the front pocket is a chef's kiss of a build, and I'm really pleased with how easy it is to use. This bag has been in my mind for years and seeing it IRL has brought me immense joy.
