Initially the Suffolk was supposed to be listed as a business card holder, but it also serves as a very roomy cardholder (20-30 cards!). With construction details like a set-in gusset and rivets at the base, it’s a miniature version of the bag collection soon to be released. Personally I throw 40 business cards in it and call it a day but this is the roomiest, simplest cardholder in our line up at the moment so I would say it is, indeed, multi-purpose.

About the Leather

Mahogany and Black leathers are both English Bridle. They won't require much oiling as long as they're used regularly.

The Natural is a straight vegetable tannage. The leather is oiled before it's sewn so it's ready to be used right away, but could do with some coconut oil here and there to help the patina darken. Keep in mind: the natural will darken as you use it! It will not be pink forever!

Everything here is done by hand, including the sewing — all wallets are sewing machine free. I saddle stitch by hand, using two needles on either end of a thread. All leather is US-sourced cowhide. There are finished edges on the Mahogany and Black, and a raw edge with a light burnish on the Natural. Thread is a flat poly braid from Europe. Haven't seen a poly stitch break yet, but I'm happy to resew if you pop a stitch. Nickel hardware on the Natural & Black / solid brass on the Mahogany.
