Sizes 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40
The Mercer is 1 1/2” wide belt, great for jeans, khakis, and general everyday wear. It’s a heavy cut of leather (9-10 oz for those counting) and will last for years. If you’re buying it for a fancier trouser, double check that your belt loops are the right height — and possibly check out the Crosby Belt, which is 1” wide, and great for trousers and suiting.
I recently redesigned the belts to have removable Chicago screws in place of rivets, which allows you to change out your belt buckle with a flathead screwdriver. If you’re looking for additional hardware (Chicago screws / buckles in both metals), you can indicate that in the hardware drop-down menu for an extra $12.50.
**If you think you might be between sizes, please order a size up — the thickness of the belts causes them to run small! Also, if you don’t see your size listed, please write to me on the contact page and I’ll make it happen!
About the Leather
The Natural is a straight vegetable tannage. The leather is oiled before it's sewn so it's ready to be used right away, but could do with some coconut oil here and there to help the patina darken. Keep in mind: the natural will darken as you use it! It will not be pink forever!
Mahogany and Black leathers are both English Bridle. They won't require much oiling as long as they're used regularly.
Everything here is done by hand, from first cuts to final hardware application. All leather is US-sourced cowhide. There are finished edges on the Mahogany and Black (both English Bridle) but I left a raw edge with a light burnish on the Natural.
